Our mission is to make disciples of all peoples in fulfillment of the Great Commission. Our strategy for accomplishing our mission is Acts 1:8. Our missions strategy starts with reaching our Jerusalem (Foley and surrounding communities) for Christ. NATIONAL
259 million unbelievers live in the United States making it the third most unreached nation in the world. An integral part of our Acts 1:8 strategy is to go to the unreached right here in America. We currently sponsor Connection Church in New York City. We have also sent mission teams to New York, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Tennessee. GLOBAL
Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:20). Our Acts 1:8 strategy compels us to go "to the ends of the earth". First Baptist is committed to providing opportunities for members to be personally involved in international missions. First Baptist members have traveled all over the world carrying the good new of Jesus Christ to countries such as Antigua, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Kenya, Nicaragua, Philippines, Romania, South Africa and more.
